Hi! Aside using my custom playlist, I have some trouble with the “Music Latency”.
I know that it _"Sets the length of pause between tracks of music. With longer music interval, music will have a longer pause before playing again." _
In combat, this gives me time to deal with the enemies and continue my adventure with the same nice soundtrack.
BUT. Out of combat, this only gives me awkward silences when set higher.

What about a “Combat Music Shift Limiter?”
Simple numbered slider. 1 to 10 to OFF
What it does? You can edit the “heat level” of your taste.

  1. Set to 1: Battle music starts with One enemy in combat.
  2. Set to 5: Battle music starts when Fifth enemy enters combat.
  3. Set to 10: 10 centaur hunts you? That’s a Challange. Music up!
  4. Set to OFF: trallalla trallalla walking in the way, killing trolls, trallalla trallalla what a wonderful day

It would be a nice upgrade

I’ll definitely second this. I like getting lost in the ambiance and would like a way to prevent combat music from jarring me out of enjoying the scenery.

Especially when the fight only lasts a few seconds….

The 1-10 slider idea is perfect.

It really depends. It feels pathetic when I need 10-20 attow to kill a single doe, but usually wouldn’t brake the music for fighting when its just some enemy. When they form a Horde, thats okay, let the fight begin!
