A nerf request to Death Perception
The way it works now this trait gives 50% crit chance, this is equivalent +than 1k precision. A single trait giving so many stat points insane. It allows people with 30% to get 100% crit change with fury. No other trait in the game gives so much stats like this one. And it is not like enter in DS is a hard thing to do. It is spamable.
My suggestions:
-Make it increase your crit chance by 50% OF your base crit chance.
For example if you have 40%
40 + (50% of 40) = 40+20 = 60.This way offensive builds that invest in crit chance will still have a great bonus crit chance and the bunker ones wont get such a huge advantage.
DS skills criting are also not the biggest problem. The major issue is that it affect wells droped prior to entering in DS and sigil of fire/air. It is basically problem that old lich form had. Maybe the extra crit chance should be add to the DS skill itself and not as base stats.

I suggested a rework in a trait I think is too overpowered compared with anything else. Btw I have a necro and played it in spvp and a little in wvw. Necro has good and strong 1v1 specs, the only problem with it in wvw is that zerg makes almost all condis useless -40%+ guard/war/ele clearing any condition. They dont have clones stealth or moa because it is not the class mechanic, necros have DS. They have stabilty in the same traitline of Death Perception but looks like no one takes that trait because Death perception is so much stronger and more powerful than any other trait.
I think they should buff underused traits and nerf this one.
Foot in the Grave isn’t used because it sucks. This trait is used because it fits into zerker builds and without it we’d be absolutely worthless as a power build except to use Lich.
This original poster is basing this on WvW. WvW is so unbalanced its not even funny so, asking for unnecessary nerfs based on only WvW is lol. You going to ask for nerfs towards everything used in zerg meta tactics? If not this post is just another QQ post.
You may think for a second if not more that power necro works in pvp but, in arenas its barely viable or maybe I think its even viable. If you removed death perception in the current state of power necros. Would you be able to pvp with it? Nope. This trait is in a good spot. Why? It is only able to be used in deathshroud. If someone wants to use the trait with wells it is just synergy. If a synergy combo isn’t supposed to be strong then holy crap whats the point of using it all together? Nerf one of the only viable builds power necros have in WvW? Seriously?
There are many drawbacks to being in DS, and it has a CD once you leave. It’s punishing enough already to use it; if it got nerfed, it would hardly be useful for anything other than occasional CCs, ranging siege, and HP sponge-ing.
If you’re incapable of dodge rolling once (or hell, even taking two seconds to run to the side) to your right or left, then I think the problem is more about you rather than the enemy zerg’s necro builds. Of course you’ll die if you sit in necro wells. You’ll die if you sit in any backline AoE bomb period, power necros or no power necros.

They made separated build construction for PvE and PvP they should simply works on WvW and stop nerfing everything fine in PvE just for adapt with world vs world stuff which lot of us dont give a crap …

Power necro is already nerfed. You can blind/dodge/even strafe at higher range those pesky autos.
Edit: I meant lich autos.

You can’t strafe Life Blast. It homes better than a partiot missile. I’ve even seen it make 80 degree turns mid-flight to hit its target.
Block, blind, and dodge all work. Simply changing your position won’t (unless you get out of range).
