[All] Ranger condi removal discussion
Unorthodox idea.
Add a light field on water spirit passive. That would also make the ranger water spirit used a whole lot more.
Now you just shoot your way out of conditions.
I think making survival skills cleanse a few conditions is the best way to go.. simple because it makes sense (I mean they are survival skills after all) but also because they are generally skills which any build can run if they want to.
If you put it on shouts, or water spirit or signets, or anything else then it only really solves the problem for one specific type of build which.. doesnt really help.
Or make Evasive Purity more far-reaching.. for example have its current function of curing poison and blind on dodge, but also cure another condition as well if you actually evade something with the dodge.

Gotta agree with Cufu’s view on this. You put it on that useless water spirity I’ll never use it because it’ll still be bad compared to HS or TU in PVE where I spend 100% of my time.
You could put a light field on more than just a healing spirit after all.
Point is the ranger would be very interesting if he removed more conditions based on his ranged attacks and there is a mechanism (light field/projectile finisher combo for it already).
Make traps transfer 1 condition per pulse.
Traps transferring conditions would be a lot of fun and makes sense theme wise.
Ranger needs more active condition removal, but making traps transfer 1 condition per pulse is NOT the solution. In fact it would be grossly overpowered considering the low cool down and 3-5 pulses of the traps.
I would say the easiest would be signets. Signet of removal already has 2 condition removals: 1 per 10 seconds on passive and transferring all the conditions from nearby allies to itself. The other signets could also remove a condition when activated. These would synchronize well with the signet related traits:
