So after a bit of fighting WvW today my group came across some players that were abusing tonics to gain weapon procs w/no sacrifice. The way this works is that entering a tonic counts as a weapon swap and leaving the tonic (skill 6) counts as a healing skill. Thieves use this with balthazar runes and it is completely broken. Something like this shouldn’t even be possible.

Thats not the only thing you can do. If you use say the toad (forget the name) one just as you are using Scepter auto attack chain part 3 on Mesmer it will spawn one that inflicts more than 50 seconds of Poison and does like 6k damage….

rangers can insta rezz their pet as often and much as they want with it

Just ban costumes, instruments and such from COMBAT. Please don’t remove them from WvW. Boy do I miss my harmless broom.

Besides that, I just don’t understand why the heck would you abuse this in the first place. If this was PvE, bigger wallets, good reason. But what are you trying to accomplish in PvP?

That you can’t win without exploits? This reminds me of those people that shoots their ping to stupid on online FPS games….
