Just a little addendum to that #4. Engineers tag things like crazy with flamethrower since it has decent range but each pulse of the autoattack has the potential to change targets, allowing it to hit far more enemies than a regular AoE skill.
Number 5 excludes portals and since mesmers have no movement skills, we are probably the worst profession for jumping puzzles.

No movement skills needed for JPs, the worst thing you can do while creating a character which you intend to do JP with is to create a Charr or Norn (to some extend). Anything else is irrelevant, jumping is a matter of player ability, not class skills

Aww, poor engineer. They have 3 threads about the engineer being OP on the first page of the balance sub forums, but don’t make this list.

Then necro because they have a lot of swiftness(warhorn isn’t a problem unless mobs around) and also the way spectral walk works can be used to make a risky jump way safer by being able to teleport back.
Warrior is probably the profession with the most spammable leaps (sword #2), while engi can jump the farthest (Super Speed + Rocket Boots).

5. engie : – rifle jump shot skill ftw, you can control where you land.

F1 hammer skill earth shake also works last time I checked. Longer cd (healing surge) and slightly less range tho.

4- you must be high, because warrior can not kittening tag, like at all
anything that is related to a huge farming zerging activity which requires you to tag the most enemy possible to get loot, you don’t want to be a warrior.

Lol, Longbow, when the F1 hits the ground, zerg is already out reaching for the next mobs, and you have to have max adrenaline to have big aoe, or it will be smaller then engi’s nades. (now you lost adrenaline so fast whenever afight its finished, it’s even worse), and number 3 is just small and slow as kittening
GS? 130 radius melee attack sure will get you lot of tabs, rush from 1 monster to another? nop, the other classes already taged them all with pounce attack and huge aoes from range and they died in seconds.

Off-hand Axe is extremely good for tagging mobs. Just as mobile as normal, but you’ve got 75 hits to tag things from whirling axe.
As to the OP, Necromancer or Engineer for #5. Necros, because Spectral Walk lets them try again without restarting the whole puzzle. Engineers, because Jump Shot makes particular jumps easy.
Given this forum over the past 2 weeks you’d have expected Rangers to be in every category. Or at the very least be mentioned once…

was thinking this very very samething.
War
Guard

The rest is up for debate
How would you rate best prof as :
1- Best dungeon soloer
2- Best Orr/Karka gatherer/soloer
3- Best WvW event/player soloer
4- Best World Event (ie AoE tag essentially) participant
5- Best puzzle jumper (ignoring portals)
- Warrior
- Guardian/Warrior/Elementalist
- Assuming you are speaking of roaming: Thief/Ranger/Engineer
- Guardian/Thief
- Warrior (perma swiftness + leaps)
1. Necromancer
2. Necromancer
3. Necromancer
4. Necromancer
5. Wait for it… Necromancer

For 1-3, you mispelled some other profession really badly.
Dungeon Soloer – Warrior or Thief, im split in who is best here.
Best Orr/Karka soloer – Ranger, Warrior, Guardian
Best WvW event farmer – Ranger, Engineer, Thief (in that order due to camp soloing prowess)
Best Open World Event tagger – Ele, staff guard or Axe Ranger
Best Puzzle Jumper – Warrior due to leaps and always regen , so it doesnt mind falling :P
Currently @ some T1 server in EU

QFT. Necromancer Spectral Walk is amazing, its a free do-over on a 60 sec cooldown for all jumping puzzles.
Nothing is more annoying than getting 95% of the way through and falling.

Try dueling or 1vX.
Hulk Roaming Montages/Build Vids
I always rage but never quit.
Rangers don’t fit in anywhere. T^T

LOL
Before I opened the thread I was thinking the same thing!!!
Ranger would show up in Best Botter and Most Annoying skill categories.

Also, there is the frequent use of Point Blank Shot in group play. Just the other day I was in a group and the War, as of that profession did not have gap closers, yelled, “NEVER USE YOUR KNOCKBACK!” I was a Necromancer running dagger and just sighed trying to decide whether to chase the mob or just slit my wrists.
