Make it much more solid, please and thanks. Perhaps a similar damage reduction as to the Warrior’s Rampage elite. Inherent toughness, inherent condition reduction (cripple, chill, immob, anything would help. Currently, both on the Ele and Engi, using Tornado often forces you to cancel it one second later to avoid soaking too much damage.

I agree, tornado is a death-sentence 90% of the time. The ONLY place I have seen it used effectively is to help secure a stomp vs. super-bunky teams in 2v2.

Even if you trait into lightning rod as an ele, which means this should give insane dps, its still just a “kill me now” button.

Mortar is OP on Forest mid-point…Kappa. At least it doesn’t get you killed.

As far as engie elites go, don’t EVER expect to get anything to compete with crate. Its probably the strongest elite in the game.

I never understood why a light breeze eles make can destroy even the fastest of bullets but a massive tornado strong enough to throw people can’t stop a thing. It should definitely reflect projectiles, at the very least destroy them.

Of course ele needs to be buffed on their elite, maybe nerfed in other ways, yes, but calling for nerf after nerf isn´t really the best thing. Almost every class has things you would never or just sometimes use (venomshare on thief can be fun). That ones need to be buffed, like the elites from the ele.

People don’t seem to understand that buffing ALTERNATIVE to the max-power meta builds does not strengthen those builds. A lot of players get pidgeon-holed into the meta specs because other potentially viable builds/utilities are just so bad.

Also, generally class power is a frequently-changing thing. A little over a year ago, people couldn’t shutup b/c spirit ranger was “ruining pvp.” That got fixed and now Rangers are in no-way dominant.

Yeah .. Tornado has approximately 0.00000001% interaction with any mechanics that cause Ele and Engi to be OP in PvP.

You could literally double it’s damage or swing timer and it wouldn’t affect PvP because Fiery Greatsword and Crate.

Could block projectiles, imho. Be kind of “wall”.
