Q:

Right, so the patch hit and everybody is back to the drawing board.

I main a Warrior and I have to say, this patch has it’s ups and downs.

Was looking forward a lot to the GS changes. I, for one, do not mind sacrificing 5% damage off of two GS skills to gain a usable Burst skill on that weapon. Because, make no mistake, it was unusable before the patch. My PvE brethren would actually mind the 5% nerf a lot more, so the burst skill better be good, no?

So, question number one. Why did you change the intended functionality for the GS burst skill at what appears to be the last moment? We were made to believe that we would get a skill that did 100% more damage to foes below 50% health. Instead, it does 50% more, and the overall skill got a 8% dmg nerf.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the ‘feel’ of the skill and I see how it is better in conjunction with CI, but the damage is quite disappointing. And there has been given no reason whatsoever why this ninja nerf happened.

PvE warriors more then anything are hit by this nerf, while in PvE, warrior was already outdamaged by at least three classes???

Other then that, there are no surprises for warrior that I can think off, but I would still like an explanation as to why adrenaline decays so quickly out of combat. I do not see any reason why this can not be as it was. Right now, classes that can easily reset fights will have a huge advantage over any warrior. I feel this can not be the intention here.

tl;dr:

-Why the incredible adrenaline decay out of combat?

Perhaps if we do receive an explanation, the flood of panicky topics will end.

the adrenaline change was likely to make the warrior more of a warrior…. yah that’s redundant but think about it warriors are fighters and truthfully warriors kinda remind me of berserkers (the ancient irl warriors that existed).

that’s not to say the change was good. I think it’s going to be god dear annoying as fudge although I think / hoping it’ll be manageable. although the comments of some other warriors that I quite respect do not assure me in the slightest on this. I’ve not had a chance to really do anything with my warrior I decided to finsh caping my gaurds lvl and working on recruiting for the pve guild i’m in.

the damage nerf is a lot like final thrust i’m guessing anet decided that 100% may have been too much and wanted to becareful to not over buff the warrior. warriors are quickly becoming a bottom tier perfession I do genuinely fear.

anet is nerfing skills that SHOULD NOT be nerfed and quite harshly. we are becoming a tanky class with little to no bite. that’s not whining that just what i’m seeing in the balance and my opinion which i’m entitled too. i

Adrenaline decays too fast imo.
I´m ok with the GS change, at least you have a viable way to proc CI with it and the skill works well. Still i would like to know the reason for the changes they showed in the skill bar.

Not really fine with the GS changes because the new burst skill does not make up for the across the board nerf. GS is all around weaker than before and Skills like RUSH still do not work properly.

The adrenaline changes are bad bad. IN PVE this means at least a 15% DPS nerf not counting the gs nerf in addition to. since you lose all adrenaline from enemy to enemy and the adrenaline gain is too slow to compensate. That by the time u get it back up Enemy dead.

The burst skill nerf was justified but the fix we recieved wasn’t the correct one. I would of liked to see something different to tackle the same issue. Burst skills are nothing special anymore due to so many nerfs, and other class can hit just as hard and just as frequently without this mechanic and not suffer all sustain, CC and DPS for failing.
