Combo Field Priority
Combo finisher will prioritize whatever field that was put on the ground first. For example, if you put smoke field first and then fire field on top of it. Any blast finisher you use on top of them will trigger stealth, not might buff.

I think that personal combo fields should prioritized. Sometimes its hard to make good combos because of the guardians littering the battle scene with light fields. Sometimes they lay down a light field 0.5 sec before your ring of fire gets laid down and then you’re stuck with some aoe retal

I can appreciate a first come first serve basis but it would be nice if your personal combo field overrode that for yourself only if you get what I mean. And blasting combo fields that aren’t mine happens quite often on a cap point in spvp and also in the middle of zeeg battles. A lot of the times people lay down these fields on a cap point or zerg is just to get that extra damage effect they offer instead of thinking that they might be taking away from a much better field for that time such as guardians light combo field on staff that gives damage while its down will help them tag more people for bags in WvW.
I am less for first per person and more for first per party if not then first down. A party should be able to work together and use combo fields and not be over-rode by the party next to them. WvW would benefit from this majorly and so would PvE open world play. When you play a field your party should get priority to use that field if they have not put a field before you and that once X Y or Z field of the party is gone you have the choice to use the fields that are on the ground.
Combo fields are a great utility but poorly implemented for bigger team play, they work wonders for 5 man groups and somewhat for 10 man due to this setup but once you get higher you just have to worry about beating that light or chaos field that gets spammed on the ground as much as possible. And if your party isn’t spamming fields then why should you have to worry about that?
Or they could remove light fields in general and replace them with something better…as it is almost universally agreed upon that light fields are bad as far as the bonus gained by using a blast finisher
