Dagger, Swords, and Greatsword
great idea, greatsword needs to be atleast 150, dagger and sword can have the same

daggers don’t cleave. There’s your balance.
Cleaving is soo great in 1v1

1v1… that mode the whole game is balanced around. Not.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Do you know what all these weapons have in common?
They all have the same attack range. Yep dagger range = sword range = greatsword range. Why is that?
Not all… at least Rangers got that going for them
All i’m saying is this doesn’t make sense. Dagger attacks are quick because the weapon is small. Swords are slower because they are larger, and Greatswords are slower still. However when the range is the same for dagger and gs, why does gs swing have to be twice as slow. True, gs are supposed to do more damage per hit, but the trade off for daggers is that they have more hits per second. Damage is a direct result from the force required to sling the blade, and that force is determined by the blade’s moment of inertia, and the moment of inertia is calculated by using the length of the blade. They are totally ignoring length of the blade. Sure gs would have a range advantage, but daggers should be more precise.
Here’s my solution.
Increase range on swords and gs
Increase precision on daggers.
or decrease precision on sword and gs

Best think I’ve read all day.
Sure, as long as we are disregarding the laws of physics on which the game is loosely based, I want nike boots with tiny wings so I can fly.
But really, the point of a Greatsword is to have a bit extra range.
Well, since this is currently a null issue, I’ll have to tell myself that the tip of the sword deals damage and simultaneously heals the damage dealt with magic.
