This is regarding blinding ashes, the new fire grandmaster trait for Ele.

I’ve seen several Ele’s post these questions and I’m curious as well.

  • Will the trait proc on minions/phantasms/clones/pets? If so, our fire skills such as the MH dagger are kind of chaotic when it comes to aiming. Such as drakes breath and burning speed and could potentially be wasted pretty easily if so. Especially on clones since it would just proc and they would blow up and dissapear anyways since they have such low health.

and

  • Will this only proc on one target? If I were to use drakes breath and burn 2 foes will it only blind the first person that is hit? Cause like I said skills like drakes breath have a pretty wide radius. It would be nice if the blind would proc on the foe we are targetting if this is not the case.

Anyways, I understand if it doesn’t, I was just curious along with some other people. An official answer would be nice but discussion is welcome as well.

In a class that is not played in pvp, in a traitline that is not used in any competitive play, a new GM will potentially provide a blind every 5 second.

And its not like a blind every 5 seconds doesn’t exist already in other classes. Thieves can do it from a Adept trait which applies a aoe blind every time they stealth (and every 3 second while in stealth), and no even picks that trait. If it was godlike, apparently everyone is blind to it.

Because everyone knows that just not touching unplayed trait lines magically makes them appealing again.

How dare they implement PvP-centric traits into PvP-unused trait lines? :O

The strength of heart to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.
