Will you ever enable Swirling winds to destroy siege projectile again?

It might sound OP, but hear me out.

If Swirling wind can be use as a defensive measure against siege on a wall, what’s different that the elementalist nuking down meteor on people at the gate?

You’re getting nuked by the Ele at the gate, you kill him. So if you’re treb/cata/balista shots aren’t hitting the wall, you’ll kill the ele stopping you, no?

It would just give the defenders an extra tool at defending.

Makes sense on paper, and then remember that there are zergs. Imagine having a wall of elementalists with constant Swirling Winds and Meteor.

You can’t approach the gate because they are using Meteor. What do you do? Use a Siege Weapon.

You can’t use a Siege Weapon because they are using Swirling Winds. What do you do? Approach the gate.

I wasn’t saying that there are zergs of Ele’s. I’m saying that there could potentially be zergs of Ele’s.

And having no counters is not a good balance choice.

Additionally, balancing each league individually is not particularly wise, either.

Not sure what that has to do with your intended update. The endgoal is still the same, regardless of the initial change that incited it.
