Well FGS 4 dmg will be buffed to match killshot and evis so atleast no more problems with thiefs but still meteornado so much better
The elementalist need a high dps elite or an elite that instantly recharge your attunements.
The current elites are not helping.
I think that has been tossed around the community as the perfect “active” for the signet skill.
That’s terrible an elite that only recharges you attunement? that’s weak.

Not really, think about the possibilities with traits like Fresh air. It also depends on the recharge timer.

Not really, think about the possibilities with traits like Fresh air. It also depends on the recharge timer.
The problem with instant recharge as an elite is that it doesn’t recharge our really really really high CD skills. So yes, recharging is nice, but a lot of the time you are still lock out of your decent skills. Now if it recharged everything but on a 120 second CD, then maybe.

As an engineer player i would rather slot a non-elite in my elite slot. As a Guardian, yup. As a thief, happily. As a Mesmer, absolutely. As a Warrior, yep. As a Necro or Ranger, maybe…
Ele is probably the class i’d struggle most with the choice of taking a utility skill in my Elite slot. As a wvw player i do love the immense mobility i get from FGS.
Even discounting the aggro/screen clutter benefit, thieves guild drops a scorpion wire, black powder, and unload in the first 3 seconds after use.
If you can’t figure out how to win any 1v1 with that then you’re not even thinking and no elite will save you.
I play an engi. When Thieves Guild is summoned, I know exactly what is going to happen so I either dodge or reflect and and then nade em to death. Not as big of an elite as people claim it to be.
