Elementalists still need a CDI?
E.A.D.
Elementalists have like 3 builds and are currently viable mostly in (if not only) because of the strength runes and the fixed celestial amulet in pvp.
There is still a lot to be balanced for them like the useless minor traits and many other lackluster traits.
I am not saying Necros are in a better position (especially in the higher level pvp niche), but considering I see a LOT more Necros in pvp than Eles, it should say something.
Both need a CDI as badly in my opinion.

Ele is next to have a CDI as they finished 2nd in that poll behind Rangers, but the question is – is it worth it? Have Rangers gained much from theirs?
Eles are the cornerstone of WvW, contrary to Necros which are largely pointless. Not sure how well that speaks of short-term Ele development.

The point of such interaction is usually to get a better detailed view of what the forum population thinks of a specific class or effect or element.
Then you can contrast this with what the average player does ingame (the forum population in MMOs is heavily biased as discontent drives them to the forum, very few happy players will be there compared to a lion share of the unhappy ones), to get a better idea about where a class stands in regards to player perception.
Example:
- Forum players universally tell you that Rangers should lose the pet.
- Ingame, pets constitute 30% of all damage a ranger causes in PvP.
- Player idea to remove the pet for 15% more damage done would be a huge nerf, and wouldn’t work → idea can be tossed out.

if anet just balance each 4 month and dont care much like in the ranger cdi,
then elementalist don’t need a cdi topic.
