“The focus for engineer in this update is to increase their build diversity, allowing for a few more power-oriented styles and increased team support. Engineers will find that there have been quite a few bug fixes for their turrets, as well as new trait functionality to help support your team with them. A few skills like the A.E.D. are having their cast time reduced in order to make them easier to execute in battle.”

We are already diverse as it is… Or at least I’d say so myself. Does this “more power-oriented styles and increased team support” mean better stat scaling for all our kits and stuff?

They could be finally introducing a gadget trait that will have a heavy impact on using them in battle and/or maby doing something with grenade hangtime? I would actually like to see a firearms trait for rifle that allows the removal of pierce and makes the shots bounce to be honest.

Historically whenever Arenanet wanted to increase engineer “build diversity” they just nerfed the most popular builds.

The skills that are having their casttime reduced, we already know of AED and box o nails. Neither of which are going to be game changing, especially not AED which will still be terrible and not used.

Other then that i expect them to "focus"on Turrets… again… thats been their focus since the summer. And they’re still horribly bugged and still terrible. “Quite a few bug fixes”, well there are more then “quite a few” bugs. Litterally more then two dozen and thats not counting the new stuff they break, which they always do.

Dont really get your hopes up to high, i expect minor buffs/bug fixes to stuff no one uses and still wont use. And nerfs to the stuff we do use. And thats being optimistic.
