Will we ever get the promised Fiery Rush Leap damage boost?

Actually tooltip and damage done do not get along with one another.

Dragoon Tooth tooltip: 1391 damage
hit for: 1300-1400 damage
crit for 2300-2500 damage

Fiery Rush: 2131 damage
hit for: 800-900 damage
crit for: 1600-1700 damage

I can also provide screenshots of this VERY HARD to do tests.

Honestly, I want to whisper something bad to guy who used FGS in that tourney and killed weapon for thousands of players. Hell, I’ll prefer to see tpvp removed from the game entirely, if we have to suffer such things just because of stupid “esports”.

while fixing this, can we please also get some nice boost to FGS autoattacck?

I’m the only one that see something wrong with an Elite skill (that should provide a nice power boost, like Lich Form) that have an autoattacck worse than Fire-Staff autoattack? Aside from the little mobility increase with ONLY 3 minutes CD… Lol.

Let us be honest, why should I use it? Since patch I’ve never used it.

Pros:
- ? fiery whirl away ? ? is this really usefull ?

Cons:
- Limited number of charges/uses.
- Need to slot a trait… just to increase the charges.
- Locked out of Elementalist attunement switch.
- Worse autoattack than Fire-Staff
- Worse dps than any Weapon Set.
- Bugged Skills
- If you use a skill when the timer is ending, the weapon will disappear and it will lock your character doing the skill animation, and will do no damage.

Please, fix it.

What I’d like to see. but I’m sure that will never happen.
Remove the FGS, and add a new Elite skill that hold the nature of elementalist:

Skill name: Elemental Greatsword.
Duration: 20 sec
Charges: NO CHARGES.
What it is this thing?
A bundled Greatsword weapon that can change element based on attunement: Fire, Air, Water, Earth (what an innovation! a weapon that can change skills when changing the elementalist attunement…. oh… wait… all elementalist weapons already do it… must be really hard to implement).

But but, the poor “pro” players! They’d have to have actually powerful abilities, just at different things! They wouldn’t all play bland but “balanced” characters! How would they cope? :P

None of them fixed this

It’s not working as intended. The fire field received a massive nerf and the leap received a +140% damage increase to keep the Elite viable. The damage buff was not received.

It’s because FGS is only slotted for the mobility, not the damage.

downed state is bad for PVP

only then, your reply will be acceptable.

And, if this is a mobility utility, why we get this bonus:
Conjure Fire Attributes: 260 Power, 180 Condition Damage

Number changes OP or scary. Either one seems valid at this point given it took 2 months to make changes that would fit on a post-it note.

Lol yeah, in wvw the fiery leap hits for me for at most 600 damage, after the 140% damage increase. Cool! I feel like it needs to at least do 1.5-2k damage to be better than an auto attack XD
