Ferocity?

yes, classes ive played and hence ill advice about them:
if you play a thief use more then 3 buttons.
if you play a warrior try timing your skills and weapon swaps, in this case its more about landing stuff at the right time and using the right weapon(swap) in a given situation.
if you play a ranger, well you know as long as you are hitting and dont get hit youre good, basiclly avoid geting hit and use pets that crp or imob, fear if you use long or short bow (you can actully use them both if you dont mind a balanced build rather then a specific one).
try a gs and regain (healing spring) with a regain or healing pet if you prefer close range combt, its ok to get hit with this one its a cleric build with good damage, not bersk though.
They’re ignoring roaming and focusing solely on the blobs of players running around the map together (and PvE), and balancing based off of that.
Ie. Have fun roaming as any sort of power build come the feature patch.
The Ferocity change should be split between PvE and WvW. I couldn’t give two kittens about running AC or CoF for the hundredth time. if they want PvE to be less “zerker only” then write a better script for the AI and prevent stacking areas ( dont ask me how im not the one making a kitten load of money off RNG weapons and Gem store junk). As a DPS Ele / Guardian i work hard against difficult odds to be victorious. Thank Balthazar i called Bull Kitten on Ascended armor! Either split the stat between game modes or just reduce how often conditions can be applied (like a thief stealth cool down) but for each condition while also allow longer duration. That way ppl can cleanse at the right time and not worry about a massive condi bomb 1 sec later. I really am trying to make up reasons to keep playing at this point. W/e i guess we will just see how it goes.

well according to what is known already.
My 119 crit damage at 74% crit rate (94% with fury) will be reduced to 74-75%.
10%, yeah.
Well its mainstream now. Fix flawed mechanics with workarounds and nerfs, nerfs, nerfs.
And 39 ( or even all 40) new DEFENSIVE traits.
This is going to go down hard. I don’t even know how would gw2 remain even remotely capable of being considered competitive in terms of pvp.
Adapt. Go more hybrid since full condi is a bit boring.
adapt to what? gameplay getting slower and slower, everything oversimplified in favor of… something that remains unmentioned.
There is nothing to adapt to. Game is just getting longer. Nothing else changes.
Defensive builds are already immortal. But the ones getting nerfed are offensive ones.
What should I think of the game that steadily, over 2 years now, works in a direction of reducing damage across the board and introducing balance workaround over and over?
I don’t do dungeons much. I run around in wvw just for season rewards. I mostly just run around maps, exploring, playing my part as an assasin with hit-and-run tactics and two-shot monster kills.
So why does this game want to ruin yet one more thing I enjoy? I cry when I play engi, I cry when I play ele, at least I still have some fun playing thief.
Games are meant to be fun, no? Or its a serious game with top-tier competitive pvp?
You know of the smiter’s boon nerf back in GW? That is the only one I could never agree with. Nine out of ten changes in gw2 are done just as poorly, with just as much reasoning as that sole one (its too stronk. so we made it unusable. no exuses. exact wording).
