Been messing around with guardian in Wvw lately for ~180 hours.

Torch 4 is really inconsistent. This skill gets magically obstructed by nothing . And other times it doesn’t even reach the target at 900 range.

Litany of Wrath is mediocre with 20% lifesteal even when traited.

Shield kinda feels subpar on guardian compared to other guardian offhands and shield wielding professions. Stronger heal and lower CD on 5. Maybe buff the damage on 4 or rework 4.

Spirit weapons/traits are kind of useless. Like most ai skills/profession mechanics.

All signets feel mediocre except for SoJ and SoR. I feel like the cc-signets should have AoE actives. And the revive signet a faster cast time and shorter CD since it only revives ONE player with medium range.

Guardian blinks feel really linear and boring. They could be ground targeted with shorter range, so guardians still feel less mobile/more commited. (500 sword 2, 800 JI) Maybe longer CD.

First two minor traits in the toughness line are really bad.

This is all off memory, so feel free to add. :p or contradict b/c I’m mostly Warrior main.

Yeah, I could see how our signets feel mediocre coming from a warrior main. All utility signets passives are plain stat boosts (power, healing power, condition damage and toughness), bane signet (power/knockdown) being the one I’d might ever consider taking.

Leave judge’s intervention alone, but put a ground target on merciful intervention.

Access to reliable cripple/chill application through traits.

25% movement speed on elite signet/traits.

shield does need a bit of work. 4 should stun or knockback and 5 should get a blast finisher on the toggle.
