- Ferocity, more likely a 30-40% damage nerf ! yay ! my staff ele is now totaly useless if i dont spend another fortune for a 100% restuff…

This is worse than their last collossal kitten-up, free transfersssssss. I sometimes wish I knew what was going on in ArenaNet’s minds, but then I realise that I’d probably lose my sanity if I ever found out. Can we please get balance patches inspired by having actuall played the game in question beforehand? Or can we at least get the Doctor to fly me back to yesterday in his TARDIS? I’m starting to think that the latter is more likely.

Supposedly it was worthless, as the damage formula is weapon roll multiplied by power, and the sum of that divided by targets defense stat (made up of armor plus toughness).
well at least u got changes. mesmer got a nerf again and then a few bug fixes that some of them actually caused new bugs, completely useless gm traits and 0 improvements for this class, 0 changes, o nothing at all.0! so yeah at least u got some changes anet hasnt spent any time at all on mesmer. not at all. we are still useless and now even more powerless veilbots in wvw.
im tired of waiting! im not gonna wait another 6 months so i can actually have fun again on my mesmer in wvw raids!
ill just reroll warrior, they get attention at least.

80% skill fact updates. 15% useless new grandmaster traits they didn’t pay attention to feedback on. 5% balance updates to the class.
check mesmer one ,mesmer and guard got least balance notes and guard actually got something ,mesmer patch note = bug fix list and after all that they still didnt fix iwarden. others are nerfs to skilled builds .

That’s because the game is balanced around conquest mode in PvP. In that scenario, most people considered Engi to be OP.
The issue is that in WvW or in PvE, no one has ever considered engi one of the better classes.

Thank you for finally fixing the tool-tips I had been trying so hard to read and comprehend. Also a nice job on fixing pets, Guild Wars 2 is almost starting to look like it could go out of beta.

On a serious note though, the pet changes are very welcome, but they should have been there from the start. The Ranger is almost starting to look like its’ pet should be taken into consideration when balancing weapon scaling. Now that the profession’s bugs are out of the way, can we start balancing it out now please?
I am rather glad that I did not keep my hope up this time or wait around to see it.

You forgot the part about nerfing skills that didn’t work properly by claiming the tooltip was wrong (even if it was there since before the launch of the game) like they did with Electrified Net. And with the Net Turret itself too in that regard, seeing as they claimed the tooltip was wrong in october and now they’re bringing it to the fire rate that was stated there…while reducing the immobilization it gave.
Also, the whole celestial nerf is a smack on the face for the class, too.
