How to not get Condi Warred?
Full melee Ranger since August 2012
Whats their weakness? D/D eles
Condi clear, they don’t have a lot of access to cover condis so you can just repeatedly clear their bleed stacks. Might also try generosity.
Am I good?… I’m good.
Don’t stand in LB F1
Dodge LB #5
Don’t get caught in Sword F1
Dodge Sword 4, if you get hit, limit your movement til it stacks to 5 and cleanse.
Avoid Sword 5 counterattack.
Most condi warrs will have Bleed, Burn, Torment, Poison(sigil) and under some circumstances Confusion. And they can stack lots of all of them if you let them.

i demolish them with BM bunker.
taking purity and generosity runes gives you 2 conditions removed every 10 seconds (with decent crit chance) and since warriors will only really be doing burning and bleed then you should be able to keep the stacks from getting too high,
or if you’re a necro then let them stack their bleeds and then give them all back
The 2 things you absolutely need to be wary of are longbow #5 (pin-down) and sword f1. The windup on pin-down is quite obvious now, so that’s not much of an issue. As for flurry, if you see the warrior leap at you (sword #2) dodge roll/run away/evade (I have no idea what tools rangers have to work with), because that leap is 9/10 just a setup for landing flurry (which is where the huge bleed spikes come from).

Diamond skin eles
Lupi solos on 9/9 professions
Wost Engi NA
As stated above all of the condi War’s most damaging attacks are much easier to avoid than the majority of condition builds out there. Whether it’s Pin Down, Flurry, Impale, or Ripost they all have easy to read tells. What makes it good is that if you land all those big hitters the target has 1.5-2k Bleed ticks in addition to Burn damage and often times Poison from Doom sigils.
I’d be less worried about pure condi Wars these days, certain builds hard counter them. What I WOULD be worried about is more Warriors realizing how good Celestial gear is because I bet it would have enough power damage to break through Diamond Skin and other builds that are resilient to condi.
Old Man Burr (War), Bad Hat Ben (Engi), Manly Manny Manson (Guard)
Celestial hybrid is weaker against high armor targets. Every build has a counter. As for pin down, some good warrior will cancel the pin down to force a dodge, so its not as easy to avoid as you think.
Thanks, sadly i cant really use another rune or sigil because then i basically could make the whole build new. Bow is not really a problem, i can dodge Pin Down from 4 races safely and F1 is easy to avoid but its still a problem that it forces me to get off the point and there is nothing i can think of i can do against it. In theory Sword is als not a problem, i know what i have to dodge, lightning reflexes is a good safenet against the sword f1 and if i avoid everything i shouldnt be put under such pressure. However always dodging everything if the fight goes on for a while is easier said than done and if only one thing hits me im already in a pinch, their conditions seem to do such more damage than from other condi builds i encounter. I also seem to get 3-5 stacks bleeding from only one hit of the auto attack alone, very weird. Not to mention the torment, poison blabla when they active the elite signet, is this effect dodgable?
Oh, this is the build im currently running by the way:

The 3-5 stacks from one auto could be a few things. The sword auto is actually really fast, and combined with an earth sigil and the 1 point minor trait in arms that applis a base 3sec bleed on crit (no ICD). They could also be using a sigil of geomancy. So the naturally fast attack speed of the sword combined with these sigils is probably whats happening
And there you have the problem with condi-builds.
They offer no counter-play, nothing you as an individual can do at any given moment to avoid them or beat them in any way.
Yes, you can alter your build and may have a better chance but ultimately your class mechanic, not your personal skill dictate if you beat a condi-build or not.
And that’s why conditions are so broken in this game.
Or you can just dodge the condi applications…

The leap is homing, so if you dodge they will still make their way to your location. What I do is let them hit me with savage leap but dodge right after that. Solves the immobilize though, not much to do against 8+ second auto attack bleeds which are usually mixed with cripple and/or immobilize from leg specialists and the occasional vulnerability.
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
theres one warr build i seem to just cant stand up against and thats condi snip
Go condi or go home.
