Which build/character would benefit the most from an ascended weapon with knights stats?

I usually hear it is better to have berserker weapons and trinkets and knights armor, but what about knights weapons?

I used to use knights greatsword on my mesmer, but then arena net nerfed critical damage so I was sad and had to craft berserker.

Yes, back in the day you could run knights/zerker mix gear and still crit huge numbers.
