LFG for Fractals: "3 War 1 Mes 1 Guard ONLY"
It doesn’t mean that their profession balancing department is lacking at all.
It just so happen to be that these are the easiest comp you can run. Low effort and reasonable reward. Players are lazy and as such, this happens. Go figure.
And this is why you should only comment if you have arguments to support your idea/complain.

Sounds like a bad group to me. The best group I’ve had for days was a Dps guard, pvt guard, zerker mes, rabid engineer and zerker thief.
Warriors are surprisingly meh in fractals.
Dungeons though warriors are great.
I’m sorry, but this post feels like it’s six months old at the very least — even the “popular” pve meta has evolved a lot since then. If you’re still seeing 3w/1g/1m group requests those players haven’t looked up builds in forever. Warrior DPS is nowhere near the best; a single warrior is all a group needs for banners, beyond that you’re better off bringing other classes.
The only class that’s somewhat sub-par in dungeons is Necro, and that’s because they have no real party utility, and no vigor/evade/block/invuln which makes survival much harder (specially now that you can’t tank killing blows in DS anymore).

Wells are pretty bad actually as they can kitten up the good Fields and don’t bring much either with a long cooldown as well, and Fear is pretty bad as well if you are fighting something and the necro just fears everything.
The best party utility necros have is probably Spectral Wall for the protection and that’s about it really.
Wells are great, both the damage ones and the util ones – but the universal problem with wells is that they’re on pretty long cooldowns, specially the utility ones (power/darkness); there are better classes for blinding (thief, guard) and condi removal (guard, mesmer); and the well cooldown trait is on a line that isn’t great for DPS builds.
AoE fear is almost never useful, breaking up a stacked group of mobs that you’re dps-ing is the exact opposite of what you want to do.

Hey you missed elementalists there! We can remove conditions and heal pretty regularly and, if one so desires, they can set up a blinding build (yes it exists: staff air #2 + glyph of storms (earth) + evasive arcane (air))!
But I get your point, Wells have always been a problem when you try to blast on fire fields/water fields, despite they’re being VERY good (the stability one!).

I’d pick them over the plethora of “meta” players I’ve found who can’t play properly. Like I said it was my smoothest run for a long time.
My best team was hgh rampager’s engy + rapid epidemic necro. The 2 of us steamrolled old fractals 48.
Anet, could you please nerf this ridiculous condition bursting? Mobs were dead before they even got in a melee range because how chill is strong.
