Winds of Chaos is not chaotic enough – the staff auto attack for Mesmers inflicts three conditions by chance. Staff is considered a defensive weapon. I suggest to remove the Vulnerable condition and replace it with Chill, Confusion or Torment because this would fit the defensiveness more, and also be more useful for staff using Mesmers. Bleeding and Burning is ok, but Vulnerable seems to have nearly no impact, especially for staff Mesmers.

I think the vulnerability is from a utility standpoint, for other players to benefit from aswell.

Honestly, if they replaced the Vuln with anything, I could see Chill working out.
Presuming that ANet actually does plan on getting IE to work correctly with all illusions, adding any “damage” Condition then begs for another repetition of “Dumbfire Necro.”

Maybe just remove Vulnerability?

So you get a bleed or a burn garanteed.

Chill, Confusion and Torment seem to strong for being on an autoattack.

Maybe Poison, but they might not make the chances for every Condition euqal.
Sth like 40% chance for bleed, 40% for burn and 20 for Poison.

The vuln is fine and does exactly what it needs to do.

The conditions make sense. All three are based on offence.

  • Bleeding is stackable personal offence.
  • Burning is binary personal offence.
  • Vulnerability is indirect offence.
The strength of heart to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.
