The Necromancer class is too weak underwater. Only 1 Elite works underwater and every time i enter water i lose my Flesh Golem and have to wait to get it back.
Why is there things that can’t be sold or salvaged? Why is my only option to destroy them?
Why couldn’t i post this in the feedback forum?

Are you… kidding? Necromancers are one of THE most powerful classes under water. As both power and condition specs, I’ve gone 1v3 and won multiple times. I LOVE dragging people under water, because I know I have a massive advantage down there.

Stuff goes here.

Yeah, Necros are GODS underwater. Only Rangers and the occasional great mesmer can hold up against us there.

The funny thing with mesmer is that they’re actually more powerful underwater when they’re downed.

In any case, I wouldn’t get your hopes up about additional utilities being useable underwater. Now that underwater combat is being removed from sPvP, it’s very unlikely that they’ll ever dump any significant amount of effort into it to make it better.

I understand your frustration, but you might want to give the game a little more time. Based on some of the questions you’re asking, I’m guessing you’re probably new. Necro’s do very well underwater when set up right. I suggest visiting the Necromancer subsection and reading up on some good builds.

To answer your questions, some things are considered, “trash” and can be sold to vendors for small amounts of copper/silver.

And I don’t know why you couldn’t post this in the feedback forum. O.o

This is that new sound. Ya’ll ain’t ready.

Necro is absolute ultimate god underwater, especially Power. Being almost invunerable to conditions, huge damage and surv, awesome Shroud skills.. What more? You can even outdamage Ranger’s pet rez if you poison the target with #2 DS without much issue.

Or Trident 3. I’ve seen that skill alone get 30 seconds of poison on targets with only base condition duration.

Nice one. Made me chuckle.

I’d give an arm and a leg if on-land life blast had the same behaviour as underwater one, namely cast time and condition transfer.

Yes, we may lack some utilities (I’m looking at you, wells!) and choice of elite underwater but it’s kind of made up by the way spear and trident work, plus Death Shroud itself.

Sidenote: I’m a dedicated powermancer.

Yeah just run trident. Yes it sucks you can’t use certain elites and utilities underwater, but a well used trident makes up for that a lot.

I’d also like to steal underwater lifeblast for land.

Underwater Necro is often underestimated by people, but they learn their lessons after getting blown up.

I still remember baiting a warrior once in WvW.
I got to half health and went underwater, the full HP warrior followed.
He didn’t even have time to react during my rotation of deadly catch, wicked spiral, frozen abyss, DS 2, DS 5, DS1 → dead.

Attrition – A pretty name for taking longer than anyone else to kill something.
