In the pet trait line implement a trait that transfers boons between pets when swaped , this could be a master trait. I hope its considered i think it would make pets more viable and the ranger class overall.
it should be Standard really , its a massive loss (if we are force to change pets) other classes machanics don’t loose out , so why should we.
when they use their class skills , they don’t loose the boons they gain from the forms/steals they do.
the shared boons trait should always share boons with the pet, swapped or not.
just applied a load of boons ,> had to swap pets (no more boons untill Reapplied) not great for team work or the rangers second source of damage ether , even the pets Survival is effected by this small but major letdown , Hoping that this Trait would get some Treatment too.
outside of not swapping pets while its all booned up its all good , it can Survive well.
as soon as a pet swap is made having to reapply those boons is a pain.
For that matter the Pet sharing boons applied to the Ranger should also be baseline but the they would need to redesign Fortifying Bond (Nature Magic 3).
pets sharing boons between themselves, ok, but they have to share all other effects too (actives of signets, rampage as one, and yes, conditions).
pets just sharing boons in general with the ranger, only if they redesign the pet to be immune to boon application, and just get the bonuses from the ranger’s boons. that’s a pretty big redesign, and probably requires plenty of backline work to make boons ignore pets. rampage as one would also need to be reworked.
(just realized it’ll be pretty strong with the new longbow)
Not really all that hard they would just have to baseline Fortifying Bond and it wouldn’t be too difficult to have all other boons not target the pets at all as they have (iirc) already went to the trouble of making boons prioritize players over pets/minions/spirits.
