Just for rangers to come up and blow everything up with this new rapid fire buff..

I think we ( mesmers) should take a page from the ranger community.

So, how long do you think it’ll take before warriors are buffed and rangers are nerfed again?

Fun fact: Rapid Fire doesn’t deal more damage. It’s just faster. Which gives you the opportunity to dodge almost the whole attack.

Your not dodgeing the majority of it before it hurts you. I think every ranger i have encountered today (including myself) has something that either procs quickness or grants it.

You should try it.

It’s only 15% more damage than volley on Warrior so it’s not that powerful. I don’t know what your guys WvW looks like, but mine feels like 1 in 3 players is a Ranger currently. Thing will settle down.

QZ is good for hotjoin sniping.

For real fights, you’ll need something else.

It might take awhile, Warriors have been nerfed the past 3-4 major patches.

The major buff to Power Ranger to me is Entangle.

Even though the duration is reduce from 20 seconds to 5 seconds, no person with a single brain cell is going to stay for 20 seconds.

However, the cooldown reduction made Entangle way more spammable than before.

At that time, i didn’t pay attention to vulnerability stacks in that ~10sec encounter.
That toon had ~2.5k armor.

im pretty sure the winners are guardians. WTF is with the stealth retal buff? Bad for the game. Retaliation hitting for 350? These are power guardians mind you, not ones whove invested in the condi retal gm trait.

It was interesting seeing how people reacted in hotjoin sPvP.

First, you had those who just jumped on the Ranger bandwagon. They’d do fine when when part of the X in a Xv1, but most of us ate their lunch 1v1 as many know how to (1) Dodge/Block/Reflect (lol)/etc. (2) Play sustain (3) Line of Sight (4) Interrupt.

Second, you had those constantly griping about the Rangers … because they didn’t think to do 1 through 4

Third, you had people who were already good Rangers becoming pretty scary. Much respect to these Rangers.

One thing that amused (and bothered) me was that I saw people playing D/D Elementalist and largely being unaffected by the meta. Not your skilled D/D Elementalist, but those players that just constantly swap attunements and hit 2,3,4,5 before swapping to the next and flying around like a monkey on speed. It still annoys me that such a low level of skill is still effective.

Those players are why I often get off my Ranger and on my Mesmer so I can strip boons more consistently to drop them … or watch them kill themselves with Confusion … despite it’s nerf from way back when.

Called it the moment i heared about rapid fire, i even made several posts about it, only concerning necromancer, if you guys think non necros have it rough vs pew pew.. play necro.

I know one thing, It kittened up and now it must be fired, or burned.. with fire.. or both.. and drowned afterwards and im not talking bout rangers.
