I have played dagger/dagger and dagger/pistol and cannot believe the damage disparity between these two weapon sets and say sword/dagger. I really enjoy playing sword dagger but the damage cannot even compete. I realize sword dagger offers different options with a lot of mobility the weapon attack on sword is slower and by the time it hits once I can have three dagger attacks in with a potential damage of 5k plus vs a 1.7 to 2.5k sword swing. What gives? When will they fix this?

dagger is a single target high damage.

sword is multi target slightly less damage.

It’s intentional due to the dagger being single-target, as Ropechef says.

Plus sword as more defensive and utility abilities, sword a pretty strong set
