Trying to understand the different classes here. Seems like its not the traditional tank, healer and dps setup in this game.
I like playing support. Making my team m8’s shine! Which classs, if any, fits this role?
Please help me understand the classes
Guardian.
Albeit all classes have the potential for support (some more than others).
A lot of people are going to come in here and give you some truly awful “support” builds.
To save you some time I’ll keep it short.
There is NO SUPPORT class in this game. There is however DPS+Offensive Support (eg a warrior) or DPS+Reflects (eg a Guardian) or DPS+Blinds (eg a guardian/necro/thief) or DPS+Weakness (eg Skale Venom or a necro) all of these are good.
You can of course, mangle a guardian into a staff and clerics and be a dead weight both to yourself and those around you.
You have gotten what you paid for, all that remains is biweekly gemshop pushing.
I wouldn’t suggest necro as a support class that blinds, or as a support class in general. Necro support isn’t that great, and best they have is an AoE on a 60 second cool down to blind with. Thief does that way better with his spammable Black Powder ability, or the guardian, actually. Guardian spams blinds better and easier.

Guardian always has been the best support class.
Elementalist can do decent support too but is more fragile than Guardian.
All the other 6 can do support too but are a lot more limited, Necro probably offers least in terms of support to teammates.
