[PvP] [Elementalist] Improving Conjures
Getting rid of conjures completely and giving Eles access to the real weapons would work way better! They can also make the current associated stats available through traits.
A few suggestions:
- All Conjures should be instant-cast.
- Conjure Earth Shield should be a stun breaker, when summoned, and only for the Elementalist that conjured it.
- Conjures should either have charges or a time limit, but not both (I’d prefer eliminating charges altogether and lowering their time limits so they’re not maintainable.)
- Conjures should not disappear when put down; they should remain there and only disappear when their time limits expire.
- The Conjurer trait should reduce cooldowns on Conjure weapon skills (both the Utilities themselves and their associated 5 skills.) May have to be moved to Master tier.
One change that I’m not fully convinced is a good idea, but which I’ll throw out there anyway:
- Conjures should replace their respective Attunement skills. While this effect is active, pressing the same Attunement button should return the Attunement skills. (Example: Use Conjure Earth Shield—>Earth Attunement skills replaced by Earth Shield skills—>Pressing F4 while in Earth Attunement reverses this effect.) I suppose that for any other profession, the Conjure would just work as it does now.

Conjures need serious work, they are pretty much picked up. Hvae one skill used example – Ice Bow and its AoE and then dropped. The charge limit is to low, the fact that auto attacks towards it is stupid.
1) Remove Charge Limit
2) Adjust the damage of skills
3) remove the second dropped version, make it a optional trait.
I think they should change as little as possible. That being said, the changes I propose:
-When dropped, the conjured weapon should not disappear.
-Cast times should be 1/4 second or instant cast.
Being able to pick up the conjured weapon again would not directly mean the skills need to be nerfed, and it will allow you to use the conjures skills in between your weapon skills, allowing for more combo’s and more usefullnes of the conjure if you have to drop it in an emergency situation.
