[PvP] Rebalance Cripple that you can't dodge.
Worst idea ever. Cripple is supposed to be worse than chill.
They would need to rebalance cripple for that then. Almost every profession have spammable, or long duration cripple.

From my long hours on necro, I believe there should be a condi duration cap on condis that behave this way such as cripple, poison, and burning in particular.
Even when I’m not on a condi spec, its kinda sad that I can build up to 20 seconds of cripple over a short span of time (without SoS).
So long as that duration cap is not across the board and more condition by condition I could agree. Bleeds take a long time to stack up.
Or you could (gasp an engineer saying this about his build) have a duration debuff after so many conditions are on a toon.
It can’t be too high because there is this crazy -40% food. So if it were another 40% well. . . .you get the picture. Or it could simply get you to 40% duration decrease and you would only get the NET of your remaining duration decrease to add to the effect (that is anything over 40%).
That would be a much better way to tone down condition damage than nerfing the original damage (which hits hybrids hard too).
You could increase AE caps by applying the same logic. Each subsequent AE on a character would do X% less base physical damage. Just double those rates for pets and maybe pets could live in zergs. (You would already have the condition duration debuff in place for excessive conditions like I tend to throw on every one of my targets).
A duration debuff imo wouldnt work because a lot of people have the melandru runes. Add the two together and condis are at a huge disadvantage. Discounted the + and – 40% food.

Chill – 10sec
Cripple – 15sec
Poison – 15sec
Burn – 10sec
Everytime someone receives another stacking condi (kittening immob) it is null and void if it exceeds the hard cap limit. I think these values are still very high, but at least we would get some kind of mitigation help in this department.

+1 from me. i got perma crippled by thieves and engis in regular bases. on my last raid in wvw i got perma chilled with no way out and my cleanses were all on cd. very frustrating and does need a cap. soft cc like chill and cripple for sure.

perma cripple is too much. i still think it should effective, but needs a cap on it. same with chill. being crippled for 15 seconds is already a lot. it should not go past that so u have a chance to recover. chill is even worse and needs a cap too.
