It would be interesting to have a canon like ability, but then I wonder if the little Asura would be able to carry such a thing haha.

Getting back on topic though, I am starting to think before their could be a full revision of the elite that steps need to made to try at least clean up the current one first. I know initially I said I would rather have it thrown out and replaced, but we have to think progressively, I suppose. That’s how it has seemed for a lot of skill changes in GW2. I kinda wish someone from the Anet side could give us a bit of feedback on what we have discussed thus far and perhaps maybe some insight on this elite skill situation. The Engi in general has come a very long way since launch, and I would hope it would continue to improve. The mortar needs a lot of improvements to make it a solid viable choice. With the new Marionette event, I did try it for the tower defense side of things, but I found myself again not being able to do much damage(mainly due to not being able to crit) . The #2 and #4 skill did come in handy in a few cases to slow down enemies, but I felt the overall effect was low.

Whihc is a flaw with the Charrzooka ingame skill, as the picture clearly shows a Charrzooka.

The strength of heart to face oneself has been made manifest. The persona Carighan has appeared.

Mortar: Added a stability skill fact. Fixed a bug that prevented mortar shots from having any effect if they directly hit certain destructible structures.

so far mortar needs

to be affected with the explosives radius trait

1500-2000 base range

1000 damage increase or 500 but make projectiles crit or simply give the skills stat
scaling 1.0 on #1 skill 0.70 healingpower scaling on #3 and 1.5 power scaling on #5

more arc so it can be used from towers without having to hug the walls and dieing
give it 30-50% more armor or health
