[PvX, pvp] Necro - why lose LF on death?
Interesting i never realised that but i seems you are right you lose 23% Lf when you die, well atleast i did when i let myself get killed by svanir in the mists.
It just adds to you being ganked and starting with 0% proffesion mechanic.
And if they dont care about pvp and keeping it interesting then ill fire a lore shot:
necro master of death , so he gets stronger with each time he dies (or at least not weaker like everybody else)
Could more people test to confirm? I wonder if this is a new bug. It doesn’t seem familiar…
old one since launch , and probably isnt considered a bug by them. I think it ties with when they changed DS from downed mechanic to prossion transform (like you can mist/plague transform stomp but not DS).
I do consider it a somehow unfair mechanic, hence why im blowing some steam again

Color me unsurprised. This is after all the profession that had to go through a lengthy process to prove that it had less down state health than the rest.
Likely the max LF value gets adjusted by some code related to defeat, and then reset when recovered, but the current LF is only adjusted down and not up again.
Seen similar stuff in various other games over the years…

its bad cz in the mists, you keep the absolute value if you swap trinkets (ofc it lowers if you go from vitality trinket to 0 vit trinket, you cant have 120% or 20k/15k LF )
They should just keep the %, as you cant change your stats in tpvp anyway. Only exception i can think of is 50 stats from a svanir kill
