Guild Wars 2

I wasnt very sure in what section to post that. I think class balancing has the most links.

I am planning to eventually return on GW2 but I ö afraid I still be disappointed by a few aspect of the game. Can you tell me please (without discussing if they were ever true really) if they are still true or have changed in the mate game :

1- PvE (and the whole game to some extend) is all about damage and keep yourself alive.

2- (linked) Besides very specific situation (ie ranged shelter) there is no reliable support, healing or aggro management whatsoever.

3- In PvE warriors deal the kitten out. Other professions are meh (besides eventually mesmer/guardian making warrior better/faster).

4- There is not seriously viable condition PvE damage build (due to stacking issues, short fights, etc…)

5- There’s still the 5 target limit on AoE. Making non-siege AoE damage hardly impacting and making plated zerg the one-way-win on RvR.

Pretty sure it’s all still true.

People often advise just taking ‘Zerker gear and learning to run glassy for PvE, aggro management is nonexistent, Warriors have just about always been considered super great at PvE (though I’m not sure if I’d call other professions meh), conditions still have a 25-stack cap, and they finally gave a lot of skills skill facts to show that they really do have a max target of 5.

1 pretty much it.
2. there is reliable support as long as it is offensive. Might/fury/empower allies/ frost spirit/spotter/.. are all appreciated.
3. Actually that title is for elementalists. Their 100% party fury uptime, high party might stacking, frost bow and fiery greatsword make them the best class for group content. Warriors are just have best risk/reward ratio.
4. For group content conditions aren’t viable, for solo you can do but you will be slower then zerker which is natural.
5. pretty much so.
