Shrug it Off
hmmm perhaps because it is a [trait] that causes the [shout] “shake it off!” to be activated when one condition is applied onto the warrior, and the [trait] lung capacity only reduces recharge time of [shouts] by 20% ? ? ?
so … this means …
[trait] lung capacity is working as intended, reducing recharge time of [shouts] for grape justice! shake it off! on my mark! fear me!
[trait] lung capacity will not reduce the recharge time of another [trait] shrug it off by 20% since [trait] shrug if off is a [trait] and not a [shout]
is that clear?
i’m a warrior player by the way.
though i am not actively playing warrior profession in hotjoin sPvP at the moment.
still using my warrior (main) for living story, PvE, WvW though.
Engineers have a similar couple traits – well, similar in that they’re both automatically using specific skills when a certain condition is met. They’re both Elixir skills, and are affected by the Engineer’s Fast-Acting Elixirs trait, which reduces the cooldown of Elixirs. Seems odd that this is something not mirrored across the board.

it’s pretty clear, yes.
the problem is that the game becomes inconsistent about that. [trait]last gasp of necromancers for example is affected by both [trait]spectral mastery and [trait]spectral attunement.
not that i complain about that, but i think either all such traits should work like that or none.

Anymras, RashanDale,
thanks for sharing!
i did not explore the traits of other professions (engineer mostly, since i very seldom play engineer) so i do not realize the traits of other profession have such synergy.
hmmm yeah, i agree with what RashanDale said, all traits should work like that, as in, benefit from other traits so they work well together.
Agreed – things like that, it just doesn’t make sense to not have a consistent ‘baseline’ level of trait synergy. Even has aspects of the NPE to it, as it’s bloody confusing to have to keep track of which traits work with which other traits on which class, rather than being able to go ‘yeah, these will work with those, every time.’
Guys, come on, we’re two years in and they’re still working on tool tips. Give them a break!
