you know hambow isnt meele right.. and bow is what warrior uses alot.. so are you saying warrior should slow down while using longbow? i know they lose the trait for speed with meele weapon.. but is that your logic. no switfness for hambow?
Warrior need to be faster than range class or they are free kill deal with
10k extra hp, 400 more armor, passive healing that can NEVER be interrupted, passive condi removal etc = Warriors bonus survival against ranged professions, they don’t need perma swifthness + rush and other skills. One needs to go, either swiftness or Rush (preferably the last). Wvw warrior is by far op, by combination of strong passive counters to several things (stability, conditions), while top of the line armor/hp, top of the line damage modifiers, top of the line swiftness and top of the line leap skills. Something needs to go. Period. If you think it’s fine for pvp (wich i think it is), then it’s time for Anet to split. But the overpoweredness by warriors in wvw is groundbreaking. All t1 servers almost only have warriors left in zergs.

hmm. and warriors have longbow/ rifle. rangers have longbow/shortbow.. the rest of both professions weapons are meele. what makes one a meele class and the other a ranged class? the meta? what weapon sets are most op at the moment? if dagger was the best weapon ranger had with a op build built around it would they be a meele class?

ya to me.. every warrior utility(used in meta) = push a button that lowers the skillcap to play for 10 seconds.
The other Warrior elites also grant Swiftness.
The Warrior isn’t meant to be a slow class. It’s actually meant to be a pretty fast one, so it can close the gap and catch its enemies in melee range.

I would disagree with that. There are plenty of warriors that don’t keep Sig of rage out of their bar. Very few warriors would bring banner, even fewer warriors bring rampage.

Really? This thread is full of so much kitten .
The only real issue with warrior is the duration of berserker stance, it leaves too large of an invulnerability window against classes like necro/engineer which rely on soft CC in order to kite.
All this would do is hurt rotations.
Also WvW balance? It’s WvW. It’s always going to sway towards certain classes.
How do you pronounce your name?
I feel that the swiftness should be removed or nerfed in Signet of Rage.
Instead of 30 second swiftness, it should be 10 seconds. Might and Fury remains unaffected.
Why?
- It will make speed traits more useful.
- Puts the slow juggernaut into the warrior.
- 99% of the warriors may actually use other elites.
- I couldn’t outrun hambow because of the constant swiftness even when I dodge the cripple + knockdowns + pin down. I am fine that I could be caught by S/S condi warrior, but not hambow.
- The speed trait we already have only applies to Melee weapons and competes with Signet Mastery and Vigorous Focus for the 2 point spot in Discipline.
- Since when was Warrior supposed to be the slow juggernaut? Guardian is the slow one.
- That has more to do with the other elites being either crap or situational, whereas Signet of Rage is universally good. And it’s not like people use Signet of Rage for Swiftness, the Fury is much more important.
- Stop talking out of your kitten . Hambow has 50% uptime on Swiftness, the Knockdown is on a 24s cooldown, Pin Down has a 25s cooldown and Hammer Shock only gives 7s of Cripple on a 10s cooldown.
If you’re failing to outrun Hambow, it’s because you’re not dodging any of the telegraphed key skills like Pin Down (it was given a longer, more obvious animation so people could dodge it) and/or are not using any speed boosts yourself.

This is probably because the other two elites aren’t pulling their weight. Warbanner doesn’t quite fit into the toolset that you need as a warrior, and Rampage is just not necessary.
