Hey everybody, we’ve gone and compiled all of the Skill Bar balance preview segments into one annotated video for your viewing ease. If you haven’t seen them yet, or want to check them out again without digging through previous episodes of Ready Up, here is your chance. Keep an eye out at the beginning of the video for clickable annotations that will take you directly to whatever profession you’d like to view.

thieves too. i can only hope it’s not too late for them to change some of the buffs (yes, buffs. we want the buffs to be different, not the nerfs).

It takes six months to get balance changes in!

Unless it’s Mesmer. They’ll make the effort to nerf them within a few days of forum feedback

i just noticed that during the guardian preview, the other player used to exemplify skills to use on friendlies is “Tyler B”. i thought powerr had left the company?

no one really knows, but if they’re pre-recording stuff, it begs the question of what would they bother cutting out of the videos?

in other words, don’t keep your hopes up that they saved the best for the patch notes. so if, for example, you’re a thief that’s still waiting for venoms to be worth a kitten , or traps to not be useless, or a change to half the traits that not only no one uses, but are downright harmful to the player, then see you in six months

Now i think rangers only have 2 and a half problems: pet (useless in wvw and oneshot bossfights) 0 team support (in wvw and oneshot fights they melt down within a moment) and the half: sword (bless for beginer 11111 spammers, but the lost of movement is a serious truble in places where you need to move, example wvw and oneshot fights)

For the love of Grenth, will someone at Anet make Signet of Vampirism a usable skill? I mean, just look at it! It’s a healing skill that will get you killed. Does no one care?

Seconded. This patch was very underwhelming for a class already falling out of favor.

I can’t wait to try out these new changes I am a little scared for these Cowardly rangers who pew-pew from far far away. Before damage they did was liveable in a 1Vs1 so you could live long enough to cap and then charge the ranger, now I doubt that :P It’s not bad, it is good I guess but well I loathe cowards

I realy like Signet of Vampirism; it works ok in PvP with my Power Minion Master (Much better than with Blood Fiend). In PvE it is the best healing skill ever, and when in a pinch activating it for a boss battle you not only will heal yourself but everyone else with good amount of health. For me I go between Well of Blood and Signet of Vampirism depending what I do and what build I use. In my opinion Blood Fiend is the worst healing since it is such an unrelyable healing.

no changes for engi are useful for me. No additional condi removal :/
No new answer to fearchain :/ Elixir C still no stun breaker. :/ Pistol #5 is nice but it is still the weakes #5 skill of all weapons.

i LOVE some of the engi changes
cant wait to try a flamer spec with the 33% flame jet damage increase,
i use launch personal battering ram in my static discharge build because it already hits for 2-3k, getting a 20% buff
heck i might even try A.E.D again since it will remove conditions when it procs!

Very nice for you. And I am happy for all the PvE engis that the FT will make more damage. But I play only sPvP and the only change for me is pistol #5.

(mesmer) one thing tho, to make mimic usable, else its gonna be trash:

make it usable on our ally that we target, i am pretty sure its gonna be useless if thats not possible, in pve barely some mobs have boons, in pvp its rly situational..too situational, u wont even need it in wvw

If they do to the necro’s what they did the mesmer, soon Necro’s will need to pay health to use their class mechanic or something else equally brainless..
