Stealth Balance
Doesn’t it already show up the combat log, except it’s delayed? I think that’s good enough.
Makonne – Hybrid Regen Ranger
If you hit someone with auto attack cleave your auto attack animation should continue. If you are using ranged, well, good luck with that. And AoE will hit them anyways so it doesn’t really matter.
it does matter because i rather be aoe-ing in an intelligent manner instead of hopping around hoping to lluckly hit a stealthed enemy where as if you follow your combat log you will at least be able to make a decent guess as where the other player is. also its a great time for those who hack to use them to heal up or turn on invuln because who would know if you hit them or not? it doesnt show in the log so theres no proof of the damage so one cannot claim that they are hacking. only saying this because of previous experince with a ranger that would magically reappear with full hp out of stealth every time no matter how low he was or even when his healing well was on cd.
my suggestions, becouse i think, that stealth is to strong as it is at the moment:
for stealthed mesmers: if the phantasms/clones land a hit on the enemy the player gets revealed (exception block/invulnerability) (same on thieves shortbow nr4)
for mesmers: use decoy as stealth, not as an extra invisibilty, to avoid stealthstacking while revealed
for all stealthed players: granting revealed after a stealth to avoid stealthstacking and granting the enemy a opportunity to see and damage the player (exception: while in stealth stealthduration can be stacked upon 3 times)

Honestly stwalth is fine. Ive fought against hackers that abuse stealth to use there hacks and then after there is no proof to show anet. Im not saying stealth is op or anything i jdt want it in the combat log. Having dmg go not recorded is messed up
for stealthed mesmers: if the phantasms/clones land a hit on the enemy the player gets revealed (exception block/invulnerability) (same on thieves shortbow nr4)
I agree with this one, except for deceptive evasion clones and decoy. Successful phantasm summoning should definitely break stealth, imo.
If in real life you try to walk through a sliding glass door you know you hit it, why should stealth be different then that? I know odd refrence, but if I can’t see it doesn’t mean I can’t feel it when I hit it. There should never have been a delay as I never see since it always just seems non-existant even when I do get them downed. Mind you, if they are invuln or block/dodge it I would except it not showing up.
