The next Feature patch
I would hope there are no more feature patches to deal with. Watching this game slowly fade away and die over 4 months in a last ditch effort that a feature patch will bring people back is not a roller coaster ride I want to take a second time.
We need lasting improvements on a regular cycle. I don’t care if they want to approach them one class at a time, one genre (PvP, WvW, etc) at a time, or what. But I can’t sit back and wait another 4 months for nothing meaningful to change and a lot of what we did get to be very poorly implemented.

I agree. If only they had different teams, so that they could continue with the LS stuff but not let the rest of the game suffer because of it. A dungeon team would be a nice start, PVE class balance. Then again, maybe it is just destined to fail…
Here’s my wish list in terms of profession changes as the game evolves:
- 100 Viable builds for each profession in a greater variety of situations
- Skill Shots
- Fun and interesting skills, abilities, and traits to use
- Several better soft counters to Warriors and Minion Masters
- Better emphasis and need for Control and Support roles
- Better avenues for players to play Control and Support roles at various lines (front lines, mid, and back lines)
- Un-linked attributes and trait lines- they should be separated
It is probable that the linkage of attribute points and trait lines is causing much of the trouble to balance the professions since they are all not the same order of allocation between certain lines for similar trees.
The first point is critical because there’s only about 40-75 viable builds unevenly distributed throughout the professions with a heavy emphasis on the Warrior and Guardian. The more possible combinations of viable builds reduces the amount of sameness in the game-play.
Guild Wars 2 needs a Public Beta Environment

Here are my wishlist in the next patch or this year for Guild Wars 2:
1. 4-6 viable builds for each profession (being realistic here for numbers. slowly but surely)
2. Introduce new/current weapons for each professions to use
3. Skill shots in game (Ranger first runner up please)
4. New zones/ maps in game (permanent)
5. Better sets of traits for each professions in game (ones that actually make sense thats been talked/ shared in profession forums)
6. New activities like: Fishing, Polymock(not sure if this is in game already), and server activities if possible or more holiday activities!
*7. Pre cursor hunts hopefully
