Thieves EVERYWHERE
Roll (inserting fifteen characters for no good reason) thief.
Go PvE, there are less than 5% thieves and HS can’t be so strong, if you hold out 7 hits, especially for a single target skill.

It’s good to be bad!
In PvP there are lots of them. The only place where you see them the least is in TPvP where usualy is 1 in each team.
No, 70 % percent of the players in PVP are not Thieves. It just seems like they are abundant here because they are as good as non existing in the PVE content as PVP is the only thing the class is really good at. So don’t complain, and if a thief is spamming HS, it means its a bad theif and you should be able to kill it easily or L2P.
Yes. Assassin wannabes often tend to infest the PvP fields. No, they’re not stronger than the rest.

You ment ninja’s so i fixed it for you

Congratulations, you have discovered the first skill check in GW2 PvP!
Heartseeker spam, before you drop below 25% health, does about as much damage as standing and autoattacking someone (a bit less above 50%, a bit more between 25% and 50%). The trick? Unlike autoattacks, you can’t escape Heartseeker spam by walking away in a straight line. You’ll have to figure out some other way to escape or defeat it.
Yes, it is very common in low levels of PvP. It is easy to execute, and many, many players never learn how to deal with it. Once you learn how to play the game though you’ll find it’s pretty unremarkable.

A toddler can beat PvE. Thief is matching for the highest DPS and can infinitely blind trash, endlessly dodge boss attacks and stealth teams to speed up dungeons. They are one of the most desirable classes for speedruns. You bring one Warrior for banners and that’s it. You, sir, need to L2P PvE. I never thought I’d have to say that to anyone.
On-topic, I can safely say at least half of the people playing Thieves at low tier in sPvP are people who died a few times to one and rolled it thinking they could 2222222 to victory, and then get rofl-stomped by anyone even mildly competent who just laugh at them.

Well, yeah. Although the lot of them tend to dress in white and red with a hood so I wasn’t exactly sure.
Seven consecutive hits of pretty much any ability would mess you up. If you haven’t picked up on it, you die relatively fast in this game. It’s not WoW, where you can go a entire PvP match without dying once.
