In addition to increasing power, vitality and precision. It should also increase condition damage by 300%. This would make the tome more useful since its primary skill is burning and it can open up the doors to be a viable elite for condi guards. Also, it could have synergy with radiant retaliation.

Also, the trait elite focus should be folded into both tome of courage and wrath bringing their baseline duration from 20secs to 30secs.

The problem with those elites is that it leaves you too open to being burst w/o renewed. The only decent time was when you could run lyssa + tome so you can use it in conjunction with stability.

Hell, ToW is the last concern for making condiguards viable. Free Retal during its duration, which -if you’re Traiting for RR- is then scaled directly with C. Dmg stat.
If anything, condiguards need another Condition to mess with, so as to be able to keep the Burn solid on fools.
As for EF; be glad you have one Trait -and only at Master- that effects every single Elite the class packs.

So you are saying elite focus is good? A additional 10 secs on tomes no one uses most of the time and a additional 1 sec on the most used elite. Does that seem like a trait worth taking over absolute resolution, supreme justice and indomitable courage?

Condi guardian is already viable, my suggestion about ToW was about synergy not viability. Guardian has absolutely no trouble keeping burning up on any class, for the target removing it is a wasted effort since its so easy to reapply again.

That’s why I said condiguards need (mainly) another inbuilt condition. Hell, I have a Carrion/Dire’d-up Guard. And no, I wouldn’t get rid of Supreme Justice for EF (especially since I also run Permeating Wrath).
But let’s be realistic here. 300% C.Dmg increase (on any ability) is honestly a no-go. Hell, do you want to see condiguards walkin’ around with ~4500-6000 C.Dmg ToW? Add this to Burning, which IIRC is the highest-damaging condition in game?
As for EF, it’s a sacrifice play. Do you want guaranteed doublecasts of a Tome’s #5 skill? Or do you desire stronger Virtues? Folding EF into Tomes alone would be one mother of an upgrade, let alone with the C.Dmg boost you’re suggesting.
