Guild Wars 2

Hey I never bothered to use this weapon in PvE because I think it’s a very bad choice. Is there any way to make it work for guardian or ranger in PvE? I really don’t see it being useful. Or do I miss something?

Full condi BM bunker can use sword/ torch as a off-hand option , then a SB or S/D as second

along the lines of 0,2,6,0,6 or 0,0,6,2,6 mainly for the regen and Empathic bond
bark skin if you plan on using condi clear sigils + Signet of renewal.

leaping about placing Fire auras on your Pet and applying Aoe Burning to a cap point is very effective when the pet also hits like a tank while your Damage is near 0 , you have Heavy condis to keep there hp in check and can Evade/dodge most damage using these two weapon sets.

On ranger it’s a fire field you can apply blast finishers to, on guardian you can use it to apply more burning to proc more fiery wrath if you are low on burn uptime.

ranger torch is great when playing with an ele and without 100% fire field uptime.
