[UI] Remove Specific Boons / Conditions
That would make cleansing way too strong.
After all, you could just set it so that you always cleanse bleed/poison/burning first, before any of the non-damaging conditions.
Not to mention that on the opposite side, you could set it to prioritize Protection/Might/Vigor to absolutely wreck builds that function because of those boons.
well, it would stop a lot of QQ on the forums.
also, to make it require more active play, the player have to click on the tiny icons every kittening time.
no "just set it so that bleed poison burning is cleansed first.
need to manually click them always.
and can only click one, can only prioritize one.
That would make cleansing way too strong.

i think his point is that with current levels of condition spam, cleansing is far too weak at the moment (in 1v1 and small group situations. in zergs cleansing is far too strong, shout cleansing allies is some serious BS).
that said, i agree that this is too much.
Edit: i would like to see some sort of timer for passive cleanses though. When is this “remove a condition every x seconds” going to tic kind of thing.

i think its really fine, since conditions are very easily re-applied every now and then.
boons such as might is also very easily re-applied.
it will not make cleansing too powerful.
it will make boon removal more useful.
however, i dun think they have the capability to code this.
so yeah, i’ll just keep on dreaming
I like this idea, but I would worry about skills like null field and well of corruption becoming super strong, which is probably why this doesn’t currently happen.
I don’t see much point in this. Conditions specs are broken and they’re being kept alive by the fact that their opponents chances of removing them is crap shoot at best without a full cleanse. Just pray Anet is spending as much time thinking about how they will do sweeping changes to conditions as they are to power.
That’s why I personally play hybrids. That way I can use single conditions for their utility and focus on dealing my damage with the power side of my builds to avoid this cover condition garbage completely. Unfortunately I’ve found that even as a hybrid, the small amount of utility conditions I output and their frequency is too powerful for most classes cleanses (save warrior) and eventually they stick and hurt and I’m not making any exceptional plays of any sort.
I do like the idea of removing specific boons though, so we can just target the might and protection of any might stacking classes.

I’d honestly put immobilize on the priority list of conditions removed. If you think about it, immobilze leads to comboinations of condition application and/or heavy hitting power skills.
I don’t care if I have 3 bleeds on me, removing that immobilize to escape burn and 15+ more bleeds because I cannot dodge is my main concern.
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
