This grandmaster trait runs into problems when against 1 hit mechanics. For example: When running through Crucible of Eternitys’ laser trap, missing a jump means you lose all your hp and all your life force.
What I’d like to see is a mechanic for this trait that allows for a moment of invulnerability upon unholy sanctuarys’ activation. Or even an effect that negates the rest of the damage that activated unholy sanctuary while allowing additional hits to do their damage normally.

That would be awesome if we could get se invulnerble uptime at a certain percentage of our deathshroud/health. Couple that with some buffs to blood magic/healing and necromancer would be improved greatly!!

I agree but Why not use fleshwurm and Necrotic T to port through those lasers. I belive u actually found the Only place in any dungeon necro is a good choice ????

It has less to do with that, and more the fact that you’re guaranteed to die anyway, so US actually becomes a detriment because it saps your LF as well as killing you. In this way it actually isn’t really useful as a defensive mechanic, despite being a grandmaster trait.

The example itself is irrelevant, it is just an example.

Flesh Wurm doesn’t get you all the way and the moment of invulnerability should give you time enough to press f1 to end DS before you lose all your life force. If you have another idea how to avoid major hits from taking both you hp and lf, I’d like to hear them.

Dont use this trait because its horrible and has no thought put into it whatsoever.
