Ok so hear me out.
I know it sounds odd considering we just got nerfs recently because a lot of players consider warrior to be OP but here’s the catch.

A lot of the warrior F1 skills have been nerfed in the past because they were considered “too good” – F1 hammer damage was reduced , F1 longbow got a pretty hefty nerf and let’s not forget the F1 mace that made it borderline useless.

I can see how these nerfs made sense in yesterday’s context – adrenaline was plentiful and in that particular setting the skills were modified to “bring them in line”.

With the upcoming September feature patch however the way adrenaline works is going to be reworked entirely. This means that the previously nerfed F1 skills that were changed to be “brought into line” will now be even worse since adrenaline will work entirely different.

What I’m trying to point out is that this change with adrenaline will essentially double nerf many burst skills making them even weaker than they are today.

How’s it all going to play out? We don’t know yet – but I do feel that some skills will be terribly UP by just looking at it. F1 mace will probably be the WORST F1 skill.

So what do you guys think? Should some of them receive some compensatory buffs?
Should they be left as is and we’ll see what happens?

They will be fine.
Adding some strategy behind using a Warrior will make it more balanced.
Stop complaining and learn to land your skills correctly, instead than using them whenever they’re off-CD and all the while keeping gets bonuses like Adrenaline Health and other stuff if you miss.
EDIT: for the record, I play warrior too. It’s my second most played class in PvP, and I’m not a hater.

I think F1 mace will do just fine just like now…

with mace you can land a daze first or maby use shield bash > F1… with that i dont see any problems.

Mace F1 is still fast enough to land its 3+sec stun when bashing/dazing first

Before you could just instant stun someone without a proper setup like shield bash > F1..

Thats why they changed it… and this adrenaline doesnt change it.. it affect all warr weapons (beside longbow i guess but thats also a different skill)

Warrior is my main and i never have problems landing a mace F1 with shield..
Same for Axe… and sword > leap > shield bash > F1..

There are tons of ways to land it.

A skill that requires that much of a crutch to land with the current adren system.
I highly doubt it’ll be very good after Adren is changed.

Explain to me how could people miss hitting mobs (PvE) or people in a zerg (WvW large scale) with their F1.

If you’re using combustive shot in PVE you’re doing something wrong. It’s that bad.
There’s literally no reason to ever use it.

Regarding Mace F1, I think it’s fine. It’s a little bit weaker in this meta because of S/D blinking thieves and massive amounts of stability, but …

It’s really fun to use. To land it you often have to bait various cooldowns, use tricks and plan ahead. It’s visible on non-asura so it has counterplay. If you’re good at it, you will make astonishing pressure and punish people hard way. If you suck, you will not land it at all. But when you finally get that 3.9s stun it feels so rewarding and crucial.

The problem with it, however is that Hambow is just easier and 300% more effective in teamfights + stacks might and has ton of passive condition pressure on point, cleansing thanks to broken LB burst.
