This is a general idea to balance warriors by implementing an F2 and F3 function that allows the warrior to chance modes between offense and defense instead of constantly having both at the same time. There is kitten CD when changing modes.

F2: Berserking (Offensive Mode)
-The warrior deals more damage and gains more adrenaline when dealing damage, but has reduced toughness and vitality.

F3: Stalwart (Defensive Mode)
-The warrior deals less damage and gains more adrenaline when receiving damage, but has increased toughness and vitality.

Certain traits are also affected by these mode changes as follows:

Adrenal Health: Only works while in defensive mode (will balance healing signet).

The goal of this is to increase the skill floor for warriors by putting them at risk when going on offensive but still allowing skilled players to maintain a high level of survivability when played right.

Good warriors should be rewarded when going on the offensive and pressuring at the right time and bad warriors should be punished for overextending and failing to swap to defense when they are focused.

This is what balanced warriors in Gw1 with frenzy and sprint stance swapping.

I think this would only lead to the following:

Warriors using F2 in dungeons and speed clear like crazy.
Anet realizes inflation and reduces all damage for all classes by another 10%.

Anet wants the warrior to be king of everything with minimal effort/skill. Just accept it and play it as well, it’s actually fun from time to time.

We already have this. It’s called gear stats – they just don’t change in combat.

I disagree with your proposed changes.

If here they fall they shall live on when ever you cry “For Ascalon!”
