That was cool. I have stumbled upon people doing this with regular mesmer clones in an spvp server but the tornado and lich thing were way cool

brb infiltrating enemy server on mesmer to summon perma tornado in enemy zerg

Yeah there is an 18ish month old video of an engineer being allowed to reflect this over and over and filling a room of his reflected clones with a friend.

LICH FORM CLONE ? let that sink in for a bit and think about it even more about how awesome that is .

I think the reason Lich Clone wasn’t auto-attacking is because that particular skill isn’t set on auto-attack by default.

Definately needs more mesmers.

We demand more Tornados!

So can you have invincible clones using the immunity boon in edge of the mists? Or kodans?

That still flipping annoys me about Lich form and other transforms….they don’t remember auto settings for some kittened reason.

Used to be the case for engineer kits at launch as well, iirc.

It’s not like this is in the game for sth like forever.
You don’t see cloned tornades, lichs, or even non-mesmer clones so rare, since situations like this almost never happen.

I’m totally going to find a way to obliterate all scepter mesmers in PvP with this. I had no idea I could copy tornadoes and lich form, but a good reason for the somewhat obscene damage the thing puts out could be either because the devs forgot to put stats in for tornado cones (lol) or possibly the huge power boost that comes with tornado/lich form. This could affect clone health too, and it could be why the things didn’t die in 1-2 hits.

Okay, so, lets take the end of the videos example, replace lich form with Guardian’s Elite ‘Tome of Courage’. Cast ‘Light of Deliverance’, which is a 4.25 second channel, right before cloning takes place. Healbot blobs everywhere. Profit?
