[WvW] Stomping duration too long
I can’t help but agree. It discourages 1v2 play. I won a 1v3 yesterday vs some decent players and I never would have won without mist form to stomp.

I would rather they get rid of stability stomping, immunity stomping, stealth stomping, etc. Why even have a downed state if you have no options at all to stop a stomp?
If that happened, I could see cutting stomp time down by 30% or so.
Downed state is the most unbalanced aspect of this game. There are now 3 professions who can deny the first stomp. Thief, mesmer and elementalist. Elementalists also can deny 100% the stomp when they fall out of a keep or a tower, since they can travel inside which is way OP in my opinion.
There are also some very good downed skills, like guardian’s and necro’s, who can even push their opponent off cliffs.
And then you have the garbage skills of engie, who when down will die easily.
Reducing the stomping time will help and bring a bit of balance.
pop a poision down or interupts, then spike a burst then start your stomp, you can always give out your burst faster than they can res but then you need to stomp poision helps
