Warrior killshot right now is very situational and near useless. While squished hate it due to its ability to kill in one shot, it’s not used often due to its long channel time and unreliable ability to actually deal damage (dodge, aegis, blind).

My suggestion would be to nerf the base damage by around 30-50% and add some kind of crowd control effect to it, making it a viable skill even if your adrenaline isn’t maxed. Something like daze, knockdown or knockback combined with reduced damage will help it as a skill in my opinion, making rifle warriors a more viable choice in pvp

I say you hold it to charge even longer. The longer you hold hit the more damage. Give it a flash before the projectile comes out. If you can get away,block,dodge it in all the time you derserve to go down.

I don’t even play a warrior, I just think this would be funny

Why not double the cast time and the damage, that way we can get twice the number of “NERF KILLSHOT” threads and twice the number of “OMG MY 40k CRIT IS BALANCED L2P” responses to entertain everyone.

To be serious though a game about fast paced active combat doesnt seeem like it should have abilities with such long cast times, so seems like a good idea. Churning earth on eles is in a similar state, its a gimmick that can crit for 12k but in real fights you can play for hours and never find a time its worth using.

Well the main thing Rifle is missing atm is any real defensive utility apart from Rifle Butt. Just change the burst into a shotgun blast with differing damage and effects based on range. Something like …

300 Range – Blowout (1/1.5/2 Seconds Based on adrenaline level)
600 Range – Daze (Same duration as above)
1200 Range – Blind (2/3/4 Seconds)

As for the damage portion each individual projectile’s damage doesn’t change but the number (and hence density) changes based on adrenaline level …

Stage 1 – 3 Bullets
Stage 2 – 5
Stage 3 – 7

Removes the “But he was hiding in the back where I couldn’t see him” complaints as an added bonus.
