engies/ele weapon swap wrt sigil revision
Thats actually a good point, but it isnt any more of an issue that what it has been already. Highly doubt they will do anything, specially when it involves ele.
Legendary SoloQ
Ele/engi’s both get the same number of procs, just have to limit themselves to two specific ones.
Its not a big deal.

And eles/engies get to proc weapon sawp sigils as soon as its off cd so it evens out

The icd on these sigils is usually as long as the cooldown on weaponswapping. And whats the excuse for Warriors, who can reduce their weaponswap to 5seconds?
“They need to trait!” Well, Engineers need to pick up specific utility skills and Ele’s have to deal with a cooldown on that attunement, thats longer then weaponswap cooldown.
Its a real issue, needs to be looked at. But surprising no Engineer or Elementalist ever, it wont.
Due to internal cooldowns on weapon swap sigils eles and engies do not get more procs, though they can proc without being committed to a weapon switch.
With respect to balance, lowering the internal cooldowns of weapon switch sigils would help. Engies/eles would have fewer sigils but they would proc more often.
it’s really just a buff to warriors, who will now have twice as many swap sigil procs as every other class

Weapon swap cooldown is 9s, so you are wrong.
for non-warriors:
- swap to weapon set 1. sigils for set 1 proc. now have 9 seconds of cooling down to do
- 10 seconds later, swap to weapon set 2. sigils for set 2 proc. set 1’s sigils have been off cooldown for 1 second
- 10 seconds later, swap back to weapon set 1. sigils for set 1 proc again, 20s after the first proc. were off cooldown for 11 seconds
for warriors with trait:
- swap to weapon set 1. sigils for set 1 proc. now have 9 seconds of cooling down to do
- 5 seconds later, swap to weapon set 2. sigils for set 2 proc. set 1’s sigils have 4 seconds left on cooldown
- 5 seconds later, swap back to weapon set 1. sigils for set 1 proc again, 10s after the first proc. were off cooldown for 1 second
props to anet for sneaking in a warrior buff that no one noticed

Ouch you are right. Thanks for clarifying.
The OP’s point was that the other classes get twice the number of sigils than ele and eng since they can only use one weapon set. So a warrior can use hydromancy on one weapon set and doom on the other weapon set. Ele/eng can only use either hydromancy or doom.

Nooooo. Ele/engi use only one weapon set. Only one on-swap sigil available, not two.

I think with 2 Sigils on 2-Hand AND non-shared cooldown on Sigils, Warriors would be stronger then they ever was.
BUT: Warrior is the strongest Class atm.
Great Deal, A-Net.
