enraged necro
You know that traits cannot be activated, do you? They are normally passives like skill/weapon enhancments or procs of somesort..
So this would have to be a skill, which simply gives stability but 50% LF in 10 seconds on top of stability seems a little too strong for a normal skill. So maybe a spectral elite skill?
Not sure if this would be a good idea or not but having stability outside of soul reaping 6 or transformation skills may be useful.
Given how necros remove conditions from others and send them to targets as the main idea behind the class:
I’d rather a trait that goes ‘Reflects an incoming disabling condition to its user. If the disable is AoE, reflect the condition from all affected allies to the skill user, inflicting the sum total length of condition. Cooldown 90 seconds.’ in a Master tier.
Adding direct stability doesn’t really work with the Necro class design. Necros tend to either apply debuffs, move debuffs to different targets, change buffs to debuffs or change debuffs to buffs. This kind of trait would be under the ‘move debuffs’ category.

That basically already exists in almost the same format. It’s called reaper’s protection, a master level death magic trait that causes an AoE fear when the necro is disabled on a 90 second cooldown.
Glad to know people that don’t know much about necro are pumped and ready to make suggestions on the balance of the class..
Edit: oh and the Mesmer’s mirror of anguish also does the same thing as what you suggested pretty much.
Taking a break from GW2 to play various

I dont think necromancer need more traits against conditions especially if it would only effect fear and immobilise (the only disabling conditions). And non-condition cc reflecting is not really a necromancer thing.
Edit: And like nearlight said there is already reaper protection (the cd is 60 though, they buffed the trait not long time ago).

once activated you are immune to all forms of cc for 10 seconds and gain 5% life force every second
sounds like a trait necro needs I would say what’s your opinion?
It was called “Shade” ,
but 5 random poeple , with zero experince , with random builds at beta thought it was OP.
I feel this would be better if it could be a “toggle”
Turn on Rage: drain 10% of LF each second
Taking damage(Or absorbing a CC ability) grants 5% LF, on a 2 second CD
I would feel more comfortable with it being like that.
For clarity I play a MM necro, so I know what its like to be a pin ball, with Zero stun breaks
