I am actually fine with how imob currently stacks. Even so its still incredibly hard to lock down a lot of profs.

It is a condition. Conditions stack. A massive duration stack of one condition can be negated with a single skill that breaks immobilize or cleanses conditions. Leave immobilize alone.

Immob stacking is fine, the fact that immob is buggy and won’t let me use skills (even those that should cleanse it like Withdraw), isn’t fine.

Immobilize stacking is the most broken aspect of this game. I can’t believe people defend a something that prevents you from moving until your dead.

I’m not sure why you have this opinion, if you’d observe ANet’s past behavior you’d see that they do changes targeting various tiers.
They have already reduced the amount immobilize can be stacked.
To eliminate this entirely wouldn’t have a huge impact in high tier play, but it wouldn’t have a huge impact on any tier quite honestly. People that want to abuse immobilize will quickly learn to chain it, which will actually be a stronger use of it.
So instead of immobilize stacking people would instead be complaining about immobilize chaining.
ANet would also have to change devourer venom in some way as the skill itself would be counterintuitive.
They’re is also the consideration of condi duration reduction. Short duration immobilize become near useless vs a Warrior with hoelbrak and dogged March, when they can’t be chained.
Are all these things problems that need to be considered? Maybe. Maybe not. Personally I feel immob stacking is fine in its current state and forces players to better learn how to deal with immobilize, and ultimately makes it easier for them to learn to deal with it as immob chaining is stronger.
